About

Meagan  I started dancing at age 7 and haven't looked back since! I earned my BFA in dance from the University of Iowa, continued to train and perform in both NYC and Chicago, and fell into an opportunity to purchase a dance studio in my twenties. I am extremely passionate about teaching, running a business that helps to nurture dancers and future dance enthusiasts, and helping my students discover their own passion both in and out of the studio. When I'm not at the studio, I enjoy dance parties with my two year old in the living room, reading (magazines and blogs are my guilty pleasure!), cooking, and fantasizing about traveling.

Colleen  I started dancing as soon as my mom would let me at age 5. I received my B.A. in dance from the University of Iowa and spent my time afterwards teaching dance and managing a bakery. Slowly but surely teaching became more and more important in my life and by the time my daughter arrived, I found myself at the studio full time. I believe in creating a strong, balanced foundation that will ensure a long and healthy career for any dancer no matter what the goals. Outside of the studio I spend time with my family reading, staying active, and creating delicious things in the kitchen (I make a mean apple pie!).
